FIVE YEARS OF FEED
To start with, here's a beautiful assortment of historical photos.
OTHER NOTEWORTHY CHANNEL POSTS (I THINK) IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER:
• The Terminal is a work of art-- everything Andrew Niccol touches is a magnificent cinematic masterpiece. *waggles hands to the ending score* And for crying out loud, how many times did I cheer at the screen or start going into emotional seizures?! *snorts* Ohhh, what a fast-paced film about waiting.
• The reviewers for Cars 2 were highly over-exaggerating things. I don't even really like the first Cars, and I fell head-over-heels for Cars 2. I had no choice in the matter. The best secret agent film I'VE personally ever watched-- probably will continue to be that way. The real heroes in spy films are the cars. And this film understands that fully. I lost so much breath getting it knocked out by this film's adrenaline rush.
• HAPPIEST OF NEW YEARS THAT ARE HAPPY, NEW, AND YEARS. Wish you all the best of luck finding something to like about going back to school! Also, Princess and the Frog is immeasurably better than Avatar.
• After rigorous on-and-off work since October 25th of last year, I FINALLY have but one or one and half more movements in my Bing remix left... and I have outlined a choice of 50 sounds from which to make it out of. ANTICIPATION.
How long did my profile say I live in Niger?!-- (Until Avatar hype blows over, I'm just going to note how glorious Princess and the Frog is right here.)
• (Five note-worthy quotes from five note-worthy movies: "Wanna come over to my house and play?!"
"Be Kind, Rewind! Videos á la carte! BLAM!"
"The perfect con is where everyone gets exactly what they wanted."
"I thought this was going to be more like Annie."
"Brother--bro-hother, WAIT! ... When I am all alone... when I have no one to scare... I get very frightened, myself...")
• ... Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped.
Excuse me, did you hear anything? I think it was the sound of the 2010 movie, Flipped, calling out in the distance. On the surface, it's like watching a feature-length version of The Wonder Years, but look deeper, and it's like having a Katherine Paterson book acted out in front of your very eyes. TWO Katherine Paterson books. AT THE SAME TIME. And the whole is greater than the sum of all the parts.
• Akkipuden! I love it.
• Where's my list of favorite movies and shows?! I spent YEARS writing that, I'll have you know!
